We've partnered with Envision to bring post-consumer recycled HDPE rigid containers to market. Envision is a recycled resin manufacturer that produces a curbside collected PCR HDPE resin called EcoPrime. EcoPrime is a 100% US-sourced, curbside-collected, recycled HDPE resin. 78% less CO2 is used to produce EcoPrime PCR HDPE compared to virgin HDPE resin. Additionally, substituting virgin resin with EcoPrime reduces energy consumption by 90% during the manufacturing process. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a No Objection Letter (NOL) for EcoPrime post-consumer recycled HDPE for contact with many foods and beverages. With the FDA NOL, EcoPrime is deemed equivalent to conventional HDPE for many food, beverage, drug and medical uses.
